                      Hotel Navoda in Madawachchiya is designed and developed, keeping in line with the Concept of Uthure Wasanthaya Programe which aims at Developing the Nothern Province, to immediately facilitate the sudden increase of Tourist and Local traffic to Northern Bound Travellers, keeping in mind the average man, with the aim of providing them Lodging and food at nominal rates, thus easing their burden on travelling allowing them to have much needed rest, during a long Journey from Colombo to Jaffna or from Jaffna to Colombo, and also aiming at uplifting the lives of peasants in the sorrounding areas in northern province. Owners also have taken measures to envissage the tourist facilities by constructing two more semi luxury Hotels, one in Jaffna and the other in Batticaloa area (Passikuddah) to facilitate the influx of middle class tourist traffic to these areas. Completion of these hotels will facilitate a tremendous influx of tourist traffic in this part of the Island, not only foreigners, but also locals from down south and upcountry looking forward to enjoy vast stretch of sandy beaches and view the historical places.

                      Hotel Navoda, at present provide you the conveniece of comfortable, large and specious Wooden Kabanas, built on wooden pillars. giving the cool atmosphere, available with two or three separate rooms, with airconditionning, Fridge, T.V., small Kitchennette, attached Bath, and Varandah for the visiters to enjoy the cool breezzing of the sorround. These kabana type cottages are more suitable for families and parties traveling together since each kabana could acomodate, according to its type and size, four or five members, in the large version and two or three people in the other version. You are also given the choice of two bedded rooms for singles and coupples, with fan and varrandah, for lower cost acording to your choice and suiting your budget.

                     Meals are served according to your choice, whether it is Eastern or Western or if you prefer even Japanese, served at your wish and will.
